The system uses a high-strength aluminium channel combined with a patented rotating pressure plate mechanism that securely clamps the glass without the need for holes.

A defining feature of Tilt-Lock is its generous internal tilt adjustment, allowing glass panels to be plumbed accurately from the inside of the balcony or deck. This is particularly valuable on uneven substrates or retrofit projects, reducing site tolerance issues and simplifying installation logistics for Glass Projects’ installation teams.

  • Pro LSG Tuf (Laminated Toughened Glass): Strength with enhanced safety. An interlinking handrail or stiffener brackets are required where the balustrade is protecting a fall of 1 meter or more. Refer to the SmartLock design information.

  • Pro LSG Tuf + (Laminated Toughened Glass with a Stiff/Rigid Interlayer): A premium product offering both enhanced strength and safety. Handrails or stiffener brackets are not necessary, provided each glass panel meets the required width & height requirements. Refer to the Tilt-Lock design manual.

  • Pro Ultra Clear (Low Iron Glass): For maximum clarity and light transmission, Pro Ultra Clear can be used in the products listed above.
